Lingerie Care

Lingerie Care

It is very important to take care of your lingerie and don’t worry, we’re here to offer the best advice to help you do this. Machine washing will naturally wear out your underwear’s colour and elasticity much sooner than you would like and therefore we recommend a hand wash, especially for your delicate, lacy sets.

So here is how…

  • Separate your darks from your lights (always) and prepare a sink or bowl of room temperature water with a small amount of detergent added.
  • Wash each item carefully - don't scrunch, squeeze or twist your lingerie! Instead, swirl slowly and let the items soak and clean gently for a few minutes in the soapy water.
  • Once you're happy that your lingerie is looking and feeling clean, remove from the water and leave to dry somewhere warm and toasty.

How Often Should I Wash My Lingerie?

It is essential that Thongs and Briefs are washed after each wear, whilst your bra doesn’t necessarily need to be washed after every single wear.

You can wear your bra for around 3-4 wears before it needs to be washed. This is however personal preferences and can depend on your day to day circumstances. Please be advised that washing your bra too often can be damaging to its shape and structure.
